What Inspired The Creation Of The Reminder Cards
In October 2009, I was on a flight to Chicago where I was due to be attending Six Sensory Practitioner Training with Sonia Choquette. I was very excited as it was my first time to the USA. I was travelling with my friend Dan. We realized it was going to be a long haul flight and when I first boarded the flight & realized we had no entertainment, at first I remember thinking; great what am I going to do for the next 7 hours….. then the “aha” moment came! I would create my first ever deck of cards! It all just felt right! I had always put it off in the past, thinking I would do it another time. But what better time than now, and what better place to create them then above the clouds flying over the Earth awaiting one of the biggest shifts in my entire life!
As soon as I decided I would create the deck - a life time dream of mine - that was it, the guidance came pouring through! Literally I could not stop writing. I was still writing whilst eating my meals and everything! I did not stop until the full 44 cards were written. I have the original scrap notebook where they were all created and it amazes me at how that ‘thought’ has turned into a beautiful product aimed at changing the lives of many!
I have always dreamed of creating a deck of cards. I have been intuitively aware ever since I can remember as I was born into a spiritually open minded family and always encouraged to use my gifts. I have given hundreds of readings and always used a wide variety of card decks. They were all beautiful and did the job for me at the time, but I always felt something was missing. Something wasn’t feeling quite right. The readings always appeared to rely on another source such as Angels etc which is wonderful, but my messages are more about personal empowerment, more of an awakening within people. I believe everyone has the access to their amazing intuition and so many are not currently using this. It is my mission to help people connect to their beautiful Divine gifts.
I intended to create a tool which people could use on their own and realise that they are indeed the creator of their own life, and that everyone has these incredible gifts and powers, we just get trained out of them from a young age! Often in society people project their own stories onto people which creates a kind of mind virus. Thoughts are so powerful and it is my intention to help ‘awaken’ people to the power of their own thoughts and to help direct them.
I noticed when I was giving readings, it all too often felt like a dependency was being created i.e. people would come to me regularly for their guidance, when my own beliefs and own truth is that we create our own reality and it is vitally important we listen to our own guidance.
I certainly believe it is powerful and useful to go to others for guidance when we are feeling inspired to, but it is also vitally important we connect in with ourselves too. It is important we start tapping into our own guidance.
I absolutely believe in teaching from the heart and I live by my intuition. It is my heartfelt intention with all of my work and creations that I teach people to do the same.
